Hi friends,

As you may know, I create The Literary CatCast Podcast—a charming podcast merging Literature and Cats. The CatCast, as I call it, is designed to bring awareness to vintage books and current books that feature cats as main characters. Many of these book will die in obscurity, if they’re not re-introduced to a new audience. In this You Tube video, I chat about the upcoming episode, Mr.Cat, and The Black Velvet Hair Bow. You may find out details of the book, Mr. Cat (if you want to add to your collection), and listen to the podcast when it’s up. If you’re interested in the podcast, subscribe at The Literary CatCast.com. The mailing list will be separate from this blog. With new internet laws, I cannot carry my blog list into The Literary CatCast list, you have to sign up separately.

Mr. Cat was written in 1960 by George Freedley. Mr. Cat came to live with George in 1943, and was notorious for raiding Madison Avenue sew shops. He brought gifts of clothing and accessories back to George and his friends. The actual podcast will be up in a few days. In this post and You Tube video, I’m experimenting with pre-episode chats. Yes, I know the lighting makes me look orange. However, my podcast closet is enormous fun. It feels good to create…thanks for following me and helping in my creativity.
